Months ago I had an accident and broke the top of my tibia. After 9 months the inflammation in my knee was so bad I was still not able to walk without heavily relying on a cane. My Doctor recommended this. I'm on my third bottle and have completely stopped using prescription pain killers for back pain. While this is more expensive it's not addictive and doesn't make me feel poorly like the prescription drugs do. It's not going to solve your problem but I think it's a good treatment with less downsides.
